Art lessons at Lee County Primary School are designed to develop artistic and aesthetic appreciation. Students develop problem solving skills, fine motor skills and learn different techniques through self expression. Students are instructed in visual, tactile and manipulative art experiences. Instruction is focused around the five elements of art: line, shape, color, texture, and space.
Kiwanis Art Exhibit
The Kiwanis Art Exhibit will be held March 18-30 at the Albany Museum of Art.
We are also hoping to partner with the Exchange Club of Lee County to have another art show at the Oakland Library during Youth Art Month (March). Last year, it was a hit!
All artwork for these exhibits will be chosen by the art teacher and the students will be notified if their artwork is chosen.
